Difference between movement types 301, 303, 305, 311, 313, 315, 641, 643, 645, 647.

Hi SAPIANS,

I am posting movement type explanation because i was also confused sometime between these movement type. After good experience I am trying to post about same.

Movement type 645, 647,301, 311 will take place as 1 step Stock transfer.
Movement type 641, 643, 303, 305, 313, 315 will take place as 2 step Stock transfer.

301 – Plant to Plant transfer for intracompany for one step.
303 – Plant to Plant transfer for intracompany for two step. (1st step GI - 303)
305 – Plant to Plant transfer for intracompany for two step. (2nd step GR - 305)

311 - Transfer posting storage location to storage location within same plant in one step.
313 - Stock transfer storage loc. to storage loc. within same plant in two steps – (1st step GI - 313)
315 - Transfer posting storage location to storage location in two steps - (2nd step GR - 313)

351 Goods issue for a stock transport order (without Shipping).
Movement type 351 is only used if the goods issue is posted without a delivery in Shipping.

641 – Plant to Plant transfer within one company code for 2 step. (Stock in transit concept.)
647 - Plant to Plant transfer within one company code for 1 step
643 - Plant to Plant transfer with two company code for 2 step (Stock in transit concept.)
647 - Plant to Plant transfer with two company code for 1 step
101 – MIGO for goods receipt.


(For Intracompany transfer you could execute 301, 303, 305, 311, 313, and 315 without STO: 
T Code: MB1B, MIGO/ while for 641/647/643/645 you can only execute with STO document).

    Hi
    I have posted entry by mistake using 313 movement , I want to reverse the stock from 313 to 0060 location please help.

      Cancel the document using MIGO-Cancellation. System will post 314 Mat Doc.
